We are happy to announce the publication of our new article, A Cross-European Assessment on the Pre-Emergence Detection of Trees Attacked by Spruce Bark Beetle Using UAV Imagery, in Remote Sensing of Environment.
The international study assesses the potential of multispectral and hyperspectral UAV imagery for detecting bark beetle attacks before visible symptoms appear across study sites in Czechia, Finland, Sweden and Italy. The collaboration began when the lead author, Langning Huo (thak you Lnagning :), approached our team on the basis of our previous article published in Ecological Indicators and invited us to contribute our data and expertise. This contribution to the international study represents an important achievement within Salma Bijou’s PhD research.
