Within the framework of the TransForMon project (Cross-border Forest Monitoring in the Bohemian Switzerland / Saxon Switzerland National Park, supported by the INTERREG Saxony–Czech Republic 2021–2027 programme), we carried out a series of UAV flight campaigns together with our colleagues from Technical University of Dresden. Thank you Carolin and Robert for you collaboration.
The forests of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and the Saxon Switzerland National Park are recovering remarkably quickly following the 2022 wildfire, and our monitoring activities are helping to document and better understand this dynamic regeneration process.
