After more than two years of a demanding selection process, at the end of January we finally received our new state-of-the-art hyperspectral camera HySpex Mjolnir VS-620, together with the AceCore NOA 6 drone, the HySpex LabRack laboratory setup, and a full field setup.
Acquisition of high quality hyperspectral image data in the VNIR and SWIR regions in laboratory using LabRack, in the field using a tripod with a rotation stage and from UAV is now possible!!!
As part of the training, we had the opportunity to test all components of the system. 😊
We are looking forward to upcoming projects where we will make full use of the individual parts. These applications include, for example, the detection of plastics and asbestos, the assessment of vegetation health (including laboratory monitoring of seedlings and experimental plants under drought or dusty conditions), the scanning of lower tree crowns and bark lichens, as well as the evaluation of geological objects. 🌲🌻🌏🔆
